The Worst Dresses to Wear to Prom

So you're on your way to go to buy prom dresses and you realize that you aren't too sure which dress that you should choose. After all, you have quite a few choices as to what you can wear and still be within the guidelines for your school's dress code. Unfortunately, this includes many dresses that shouldn't be seen out of the factory, let alone out of the store. The question is—what are these prom dresses? First of all, if the dress has enough feathers on it to stuff a mattress then you maybe overdoing it. Another thing to avoid as far as formal dresses go are dresses with an overpowering animal print. Animal prints are fine in moderation, but are often way too overpowering in dresses. If you choose to wear animal prints at all, keep them limited to a purse or something else. Dresses that have a large amount of cut-outs are also not the best idea. If you are allowed to have cutouts on your dress, then keep it down to a limited number. The same goes for tassels—you should keep them limited. Make sure that when you choose your prom dresses to make sure that they are appropriate and are not overdone, less is more.
