So you've commissioned your boyfriend to go prom dress shopping with you, but you aren't entirely sure what it will be like once you get there. So the question is—what exactly will it be like to go prom dresses shopping with your boyfriend?

First of all, you need to understand that if you were a guy, you probably wouldn't like shopping. It's kind of boring, sales are overrated...this is what most guys (although there are exceptions!) think when they have to go shopping. Do not be surprised if your boyfriend is a tiny bit bored. However, take this opportunity to spend a bit of quality time with him. Try to get his opinion. Ask him to pick out a few dresses that he really, really wants to see you in. Most of all, do not get angry if he doesn't show an overwhelming amount of interest in the dresses that you choose. Chances are that you wouldn't like helping him pick out a video game.
