Who should I bring with me to buy a prom dress

When it comes to buying prom dresses, you may find that it’s a bit more work than you anticipated. However, a lot of times, a little friendly help makes it easier for not only you but also those who you know to pick out their prom dresses. After all, you could always go together instead of individually and make a super formal dresses shopping trip. This makes it easier for everyone together because they are all able to get a better idea of what dresses look best on them and don’t have to worry about not looking very nice at prom.

First of all, pick people who you know will tell you the truth about the dress. There is absolutely no point to going to buy a dress with people that you know are just going to tell you what you want to hear. If you look horrible in short dresses, you need people who will tell you that—not people who will beat around the bush about it.

Second, give them this courtesy and make sure that you have not chosen people who are intentionally malicious. There’s a big difference between helping someone pick a dress and being downright rude to them. The same goes for you as you help someone pick theirs—if you don’t think it looks right on them, tell them as nicely as possible.
